Wet Tuesday Start

Clouds continue to thicken tonight. We'll see showers approach by sunrise along with a few thunderstorms. Lows will stay steady in the upper 40s with a southeast wind. Tuesday morning rush hour will have showers and scattered thunderstorms moving from west to east across our area. As long as this weather system stays on track we'll dry out and find brighter skies by afternoon. Winds will become breezy out of the northwest as afternoon highs settle in the middle 50s.

We will get much colder Tuesday night. Under clear skies, inland areas fall into the middle 20s, while most spots go below freezing near the coast. Wednesday shapes up to be sunny and calm with highs in the middle 50s. Thursday has another weather system approaching so look for increasing clouds and showers by late afternoon or evening. Highs stay in the lower 50s. Showers continue Thursday night into Friday so Friday.

With any luck the showers will exit by Friday evening parade time but in either case Friday will be a colder day with highs only in the upper 40s. The weekend outlook is cool, dry and partly cloudy with highs in the lower or middle 50s.
